  • What is the trial run and is it necessary?
Your trial run is your time to try different makeup and hairs looks in order to be comfortable with whatever you choose as your wedding day look. It would be spent consulting with you and designing the look. There will be two-three options of hair and makeup. We will spend 3 hours in a comfortable studio.

A trial run is recommended but not necessary.

If you are nervous or worried about how your hair and makeup will turn out or you do not know how you want your hair and makeup done. I recommend you schedule a trial run.
However, if you have seen my works, you know the style of hair and makeup you would like, you feel confident that the outcome of my works work for your wedding day and you are not feeling anxious about it, then no.
  • What I need to prepare for the trial session?
I recommend that you come to the trial run with clean dry hair and a makeup free face.

Come with a few different photos of makeup and hair looks.  Please, look online to find photos of hair and makeup looks that you like. These examples will give me an idea of what «natural makeup» or «romantic updo» or «curls» mean to you as another bride may have a complete different idea of what these look like.

Do not forget to come with hair accessories and photo of your wedding dress.

Please, be open and honest about what you like and do not like, what you want to try and not try, you should be more than happy with your look.

I will have all of the hair and makeup products and tools necessary to create the look.
  • If I do not need a trial run?
Jump straight to booking your wedding day.
  • What brand of makeup products do you use? and what if I want to integrate some of my own makeup into service?
All of the products I use are of the best professional quality and focus on longevity and camera flawless finishes.
I mix and match the most suitable products from various brands such as MAC, Make Up For Ever, Estée Lauder, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Becca Cosmetics, Armani Beauty, Dior, Hourglass, Dolce&Gabbana, Kevin Aucoin, Laura Mercier, Philosophy, Nars, Nyx, Shu Uemura, Urban Decay.

Please, inform of any allergy conditions prior to application makeup.

Sometimes, brides or someone from bridal party have provided certain makeup items that they prefer to be used and I am totally okay with it. But in this case, I do not guarantee the longevity of any product that I do not use before.
Inner beauty is great but a little foundation never hurts.

  • If I rarely wear makeup?
If in your daily life the normal look is a BB cream, mascara and chapstick. The wedding makeup will be a little different for you. Because here in Dominican Republic the weather is hot and humid I need to use a specific techniques for all day perfection for makeup and hair and you can enjoy makeup and hair to the end of the day.
Often if you do not wear any makeup may feel a bit overwhelmed when you see your makeup professionally done for the first time.
  • Will I need more than natural makeup for photos?
My esthetic is very natural to the soft glam. I will work with you based on your preferences. And make look that makes you feel your best and of course looks flawless in photos.
More coverage does not mean more product.
Rae Morris.
  • How is the wedding day timeline created? How long does it take you to complete services?
The bride will be scheduled for three hours for makeup and hair. Each additional makeup or hair service will range from 40 min to 1 hour (per service) depending on hairstyle.

I will create a schedule for you based on the time you need to be ready for your photographer or to walk down a coastline, of first look.

And also if the time is limited and knowing the amount of services that are needed to be done I will come with my team
Some tips on timeline:
1. I suggest that the scheduled person arrives 15 min before their slot to keep the day running smoothly and on the time.
2. Bridesmaids were supposed to have dry hair to take hairstyling, if bridesmaid comes with wet hair, so I need an additional 30 min.
3. Makeup and hair stylist is there, waiting start, but bridesmaid is not ready for services, add an additional time.
  • Will I need touchup service for my wedding or style changes?
I will do touch up when everyone is ready, before taken the pictures by your photographer.

If you want I will stay after the all makeup and hairs are done, and set up in a room in a venue and I am waiting incase touch up services are needed: the time starts after 30 min after when everyone is ready. It costs 70$ an hour. This include powder, lipstick color, bobbi pins, recurling any pieces that have fallen, hairspray, etc.
I want you to feel like we are a dear friends rather than vendor,
  • Do I have to pay a vendors fee at my wedding?
This really depends on where are you getting married. Most wedding venues allow stylists and photographers to work for free. Resorts/ hotels ask couples to pay a vendor fee to let us (stylists and photographers) work at their territory.

My recommendation is tell your wedding planner/ or speak with hotel manager that you have the wedding stylist (me) showing up at your weddings and they will help you with that.
offering you a fantastic beauty experience from start to finish.
  • Do you have any additional costs?
The additional cost is travel fee. It depends on where are you getting married.
  • What is the cancelation policy?
if you cancel your appointment less than 4 month (prior to the wedding date) you will be charged the full services rate.

Non-refundable retainer (deposit) is not able to be refunded. And there are no refunds for any reason for completed services.
  • Do you offer any other services besides weddings?
Yes I do. I also offer in-home/in-hotels/on-location makeup and hairstyling services for do engagement photoshoots and any events.

Set your worries aside, get comfy and let me work my magic.
